Gundam 00 :: Union Flag (SVMS-01) - Assembled
Well, as I’ve already mentioned, the number of parts is not so great, and the parts themselves are tiny, so a seasoned GUNPLA modeler will probably spend an hour and a half, two hours (maybe?) assembling this mecha. Look at what I got at the end of this lengthy process

Foil Stickers
As always, I recommend to use the one that makes a silver background for the amber “face-plate” and dump the rest of them - you will be better off painting those little patches of plastic, rather than using the stickers.
What Is and 
About This Kit
In a few words: this plastic kit left a mixed impression — its sort of “half cooked” in my opinion. Why? I started to list what is good and what is bad about Union Flag SVMS-01 and found myself concentrated on those little annoying things with just a couple of positive comments about what have been truly well done.
Remeber, I made some references to Eureka Seven line of mecha? Well, they are much more sturdy and at the same time are very flexible. Read on…
- Let’s start with its head. Unfortunately, it is unable to move in any direction. That’s a minor but nevertheless minus
- Shoulder wings are getting in the way of shoulder plates when you try to raise SVMS-01’s arms - minor
- Shoulder ball joints are to weak thus making it very easy to tear SVMS-01 “limb from limb” [he-he] - again
- The gun’s handle does not fit the hand properly (!) and constantly falling off - a big for making us use cement.
- Defence Rod touches the wings while rotating - minor
- The armor plate around its hips is very restrictive for the legs movement - major
- Even though BANDAI did not include their simple action stand in the kit, the model is ready to be put on one [which is definitely ] but there is a bummer - the tiny little part, what covers the hole used with the stand has nowhere to go on the model once you take it off and can be lost in a matter of seconds if you are not careful
So what is good about this kit?
- It is easy to put together.
- Requires minimum painting.
- Action stand ready.

Conclusion? If you like Gundam 00 anime and want to have ALL the mecha from this series, then definitely buy this kit and make sure you have got a stand for Union Flag! Otherwise, spend your money on something else.
