Submit your reviews and choose your HG kit for a prize!
Hi Everyone! It is absolutely clear (even to me now
) that I simply do not have enough time to regularly add new reviews to mechaCENTRAL.com, but I would really like to see this site growing in the number of posts and their quality – and that is why I have decided to ask my readers for help.
In short – I would like to invite your reviews for publishing on mechaCENTRAL.com in exchange for a High Grade kit – something to write a new post about
!
Let us get to some specifics here.
If you check Google for mechaCENTRAL.com placement in this search query (opens in a new window), you will find this site at the very top. Suppose, you have got a blog, where you write for a number of topics including mecha kits, then an external link to your site form mechaCENTRAL.com would not hurt, right? The same goes for a new starters – get your review published along with a link to your site.
Now, about the High Grade 1/144 BANDAI kits. I think this will be a fair reward for your time and effort. Therefore, I have prepared 6 different boxes up for grabs.
So, what are the conditions?
- First and foremost - there will be no place for plagiarism on mechaCENTRAL.com. I will not accept someone else’s work submitted from a stranger and will do everything in my power to stop this from happening – I really do not need any troubles with other people’s resources. This applies to your own works published elsewhere except for your own blog/site. If your review has been already published on your own blog/site then please provide a link to the original.
- Please send your submissions written in English to reviews[at]mechacentral.com. I’ll do my best to respond to all your emails in 24 hours.
- In some cases I may decide to edit your review a little bit or ask you for some additions – please do not take it as a criticism – we both want the best possible article published here and linking to your site. In any case we will collaborate on every detail until we are all satisfied.
- The more pictures, the better – therefore, I would encourage you to send as many pictures as you like – just be mindful of the size. If your article is going over 4 MB with all illustrations then it would be better to upload your pictures somewhere else and let me know where I can get them.
Yes, I would like to have copies of all your pictures hosted on mechaCENTRAL.com simply because it is more convenient and they will be available even in a situation when your site is down for maintenance. - A link to your blog/site will be placed along with your (nick)name right after the title.
- As for the High Grade kits – at this stage there are 6 available up for grabs (all brand new original BANDAI boxes – no bootlegs or cheap fakes). Once you have got 2 of your reviews accepted for publishing on mechaCENTRAL.com (you will be notified by email) you get to choose any, which is still available from the left column (below - RGM-79, RGM-79G or Gundam Ez8). Should you wish to get a bigger box
, then submit 3 reviews and chose one from the right (MS-06FS ZAKU IIFS, MS-06S Char’s ZAKU II or RMS-106 HI-ZACK). All you will have to do then is to let me know your address
:

I wish everyone good luck and look forward to your comments and emails. I will attempt to keep this going if people seem interested and contribute, so please do not hesitate to ask me questions and give suggestions.
My best regards,
Andrew
